Miss Universe Nepal is an all-inclusive leadership platform that believes in empowering Nepalese women to grow into leaders. The platform aims to provide the contestants with world-renowned coaching and grooming in addition to advanced networking, business, and life skills. Through a pageantry process, we hope to inspire and shape Nepalese women to be Brave, Bold, and Beautiful role models for future generations.

2021

Sujita Basnet

Sujita Basnet is an accomplished ‘woman in technology‘ who also prides herself on being a ‘woman in pageantry‘ - she wants to promote the power of being a woman through this duality.

She is an advocate for education and financial freedom. Since 2016, Sujita has been running a scholarship program, LiberatED, to equip young women from disadvantaged backgrounds with tertiary-level education and job experience. She truly believes that empowering one young woman at a time can help fuel the cycle of empowerment for herself, her family, and her community.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and currently works for Accenture, a Fortune Global 500 company. Using her own life as an example she hopes to empower individuals to never give up on their dreams but to use their journey as a way to become the best version of themselves.

2020

Anshika Sharma

Anshika Sharma is a woman in technology, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Central Queensland University, Australia. Prior to MUN 2020, she worked as a Business Analyst at DHL Austalia where she was awarded Employee of the Year 2019.

Anshika is an advocate for children receiving a quality education. Just like how her life has opened up to countless possibilities after being opened to the world of knowledge, she believes quality education can do the same for others.

After being crowned Miss Universe Nepal 2020, she used her winning prize to open her own foundation that currently supports 24 students who were on the verge of dropping out. She plans on providing these children with all the required support needed for a quality education until they graduate

Currently, Anshika is pursuing further studies and modeling in the USA.
